Marlene Dancer Adams has practiced family law for over 30 years, and has successfully handled divorce and family law matters, including child custody and division of complex marital property. Marlene Dancer-Adams did not do the work she promised on my divorce, did not bill correctly, and then dropped my case when I insisted that she begin actually making progress on my case. She was abusive and rude. She kept my entire retainer. I went to another attorney that got my divorce done in weeks, whereas Marlene had months, and did nothing. She is a crook. Make sure to check here Yelp reviews as well. Apparently she makes a habit of getting a retainer from people, doing no work, then keeping their money. This was quite a few years ago, but I am sorry to see she is still allowed to practice in this matter. If I had not been going through such a hard time, I probably would have tried to find out how to have her investigated.

She stole $1000 retainer, lied about contacting the opposing attorney, never submitted a response, and then disappeared with my money. I’m not sure how this lady is still practicing.
